To Tulsa Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Oklahoma's Green Country

The Ukranian Autocephalus Orthodox Church is Orthodox in its beliefs and doctrine, but separated from the Russian Orhodox Church after the Communist revolution in Russia.

The Administration of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia is manifested in the Council [Sobor] of Bishops through the First Hierarch with the Synod of Bishops and the Diocesan bishops.  The Council of Bishops, convened approximately every two years, is the supreme authority of the ecclesiastical legislative, administrative, judicial and executive organ for the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.  The Synod of Bishops is the executive organ of the Council.

Today, the ROCOR has over 100 parishes in the United States.  There are two ROCOR parishes in Oklahoma, one in Owasso, and one in Oklahoma City.  Both are part of the Diocese of Chicago.
